The surrounding valley offers a beautiful natural environment, with rolling hills planted with olive and almond trees against the backdrop of impressive grey mountains. The local variety of the Mediterranean climate is a pleasant one, with hot but dry air during the summer days and cooler nights.

Your guests can take a stroll through Colmenar or the surrounding countryside, sample famous regional dishes in any of the local tapas bars, go shopping at the weekly market, or simply have a relaxing day on one of the ample terraces, with a good read in the sun.
