From here, the coast at Torre del Mar is just a 15 minutes' drive away, and that's where the quiet beaches are located. Not during weekends of course, when all beaches are crowded, but on week days these beaches are usually mostly empty.
On the other hand, the hinterland offers an interesting scenery for day trips as well. The grey mountain masses with their clearly defined borders where all vegetation ceases to grow are beautiful, as is the azure lake of Viñuela.
