This cottage is in a very quiet location, down a longer track but with good access. You can move into it straight away, although you will want to do some work to it because it actually needs some maintenance. We're not talking about a huge, expensive project, that wouldn't even fit the style of the property at all.
The property stands in a valley that borders the Montes de Malaga natural park and from here there are several tracks right through the mountains to the sea. The drive over such a track to El Palo, a suburb of the city of Malaga, takes about 25 minutes, while it would take you 30 to 45 minutes over the normal traditional tarmac road.
This would really be the perfect hideaway to enjoy a well-earned holiday away from the hustle and bustle. Both bedrooms can accommodate double beds. And of course you could give the lean-to a second life.
There is no lack of outside space. Right next to the house is a large flat area, where you could grow your own vegetables or have a nice sun terrace. There is really still a lot of unused potential here. The property has a large water deposit, which is being fed by your own well down by the river. The house comes with quite a bit of land, although part of it is rather steepish, but an area of some 300 square metres directly around the house is easy to walk on.
