The villa is in a very sheltered location in a fold of the mountain. Winters are very mild here and even with just a few rays of sunshine it will be very pleasant here.

Privacy is not exactly a problem here. The property sits along a track, so there will be no passing traffic worth mentioning. The swimming pool is located near the edge of the property, enjoying open views over the valley of the upper Axarquía, towards whitewashed villages such as Periana and Comares, and up the mountain peaks of the Sierra de Tejeda Natural Park.

The property is a few kilometres down the road from Colmenar, also known as the Capital of the Montes de Malaga. This is where you'll find all amenities, such as shops, bars, restaurants, schools, a 24/7 medical centre, public transportation, an internet shop and so on. From Colmenar, the possibilities for things to do are endless. The city of Malaga with its beautiful historic town centre is only a 25 minutes' drive away, as are the international airport and the Mediterranean beaches. Granada or longer drives to Seville, Cordoba or even Portugal are within range.
