A modern country villa in the hills surrounding the rural mountain village of Casabermeja. The house comprises of a spacious living room with wood burning stove, a semi open plan kitchen divided from the living room by a large arched opening, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Even though the fully fitted kitchen is really in a separate room, you'll never be left out of what's going on in the living room while cooking. There is storage room in the attic. The owners will leave some furniture in the house.

Outside is a good size pool with a view of the Montes de Malaga with its sloping hills and steep mountains. The location and the building quality are two factors this property has going for it. Another advantage is that the house has a new digital phone line connected, so you can keep in touch with your family and friends back home at all times through email or instant messaging.

The villa is located at three minutes' driving distance from the village of Casabermeja. From here the motorway will take you right into the historic centre of Malaga city in less than 15 minutes. Or you turn the other way and drive to attractive cities like Cordoba or Granada in about an hour. Living here means you get to enjoy these beautiful rural mountain views, but the civilised world is never far away.

Among the highlights of the village Casabermeja are the Zambra tower, an Arab watchtower built in the 13th century, the church of Nuestra Señora del Socorro, built in the early 1500s, and the monumental graveyard San Sebastian, a national cultural monument with ancient burial mounds, vaults and pinnacles. Dating back even further are the Peñas de Cabrera, a collection of prehistoric cave paintings. The Mirador de Mallen, some 6 kilometres from the village, offers amazing panoramic views.
