A farmstead with 21 rooms, some of which are 3.5 metres wide and 9 metres long, that sounds like a palace to me. Plenty of space to put in several en-suite bathrooms. This property is at least 200 years old and these old places were always built in the best spots.

More things are important than just buying a property with a wow-factor view. If you already live here in Spain you know that. The winters here at this finca, in the Montes de Málaga near Comares, are very mild. It is located in the centre of not too big a valley, so it does not stand on top of a windy hill. Lemon and orange trees grow here. You could have an orchard with all the Mediterranean fruits you can think of. The view is nice but with this property we are also talking about living the good life. Great place to have some horses or other live stock.

Recently a small and quiet tarmac road has been put in, just one minute away from this farmstead so it is very easy to drive to since it has just a very short track. Others can use this track as well. Uphill are some more houses, so you would not be completely on your own here. Shops are about a ten minutes' drive away. Getting to the beach or a big shopping mall would take another 25 minutes. A drive towards the natural park Montes de Málaga will take about 15 minutes.

Knowing what other owners are asking for their big houses and the state this farmstead is in, we think that the price of this property is very good. Sure it needs to be said that a thorough renovation would cost quite a bit. For a start, let's say something in the region of 60,000 to 100,000 euros. But of course a lot depends on whether or not you have an expensive taste. The farmstead has been divided into 3 separate houses and you could live in one of them when you do the place up. All the facilities you need for living are here. A good opportunity with high potential.
