Villa Zambra

Villa Zambra lies nearby the green National Park Montes de Málaga, away from the bustle and yet at only a short distance from Málaga. The villa is completely restored with all modern conveniences. It has a pleasant wood burning stove in the living room, that radiates heat to two sides in the cool winter months. There are two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The old kitchen has been restored in style, but the old bread oven is still in place. Here too is a wood burning stove under the old chimney. The second living-room enjoys beautiful views on the surroundings, the Sierra Tejeda and the occasionally snow-covered Sierra Nevada to the east.

From the garden, you can also see the mountain range that forms the border between the Montes the Malaga and the plain of Antequera in the north. There is a pool in the garden, as well as a large pleasant terrace. The house can be adapted to accommodate more people, the garden house also has a bedroom with its own shower and toilet. Furthermore there is a separate apartment for 2 persons, with living room, open plan kitchen and bathroom with shower and toilet.

This is rural Andalucia at its best, yet the city of Málaga and Antequera are just 20 kilometres away. The entire Andalucia motorway network links here, so day excursions to Seville, Ronda, Cordoba and Granada are all possible and hassle free. You can do your shopping either in the big supermarkets in Malaga or Antequera, or buy locally from the small supermarkets, local butchers, vegetable store and bakery in Riogordo. The Mediterranean Sea and its beautiful beaches are only a 30 minutes drive away.
