Hotel Cortijo La Reina

Hotel Cortijo La Reina is placed in a garden full of very old trees. It has a swimming pool, a tennis court, pelota court, minigolf course, French bowls and a playground for children. The hotel has also an covered parking for our guests.

The common areas are well-equipped to make our guests feel comfortable. There are fireplaces, salamander stoves, airconditioning and heating.

On the ground floor there is a lounge with two fireplaces, a bar with a game room, a private restaurant, an Andalucian kitchen, a billiard room, a game room with fireplace, a restaurant for breakfast, a barbecue, a cellar, a restaurant with a fireplace, and other rooms.

Some bedrooms are equipped with a fireplace or a salamander stove, airconditioning and heating, television, telephone, minibar, safebox and a bathroom with heating.

The Cortijo La Reina Hotel is part of a 150,000 m² land, located near the Montes de Malaga Natural Park, 20 minutes away from the city and 30 minutes away from the airport. Its remarkable situation, at an altitud of 800 metres, makes it possible to enjoy beautiful views to the sea and over the valley.

Close to the hotel are Colmenar, Archidona, Casabermeja and other villages in the region of the Montes de Malaga and La Axarquia. Likewise, El Candado, Guadalhorce, Parador de Torremolinos and Añoreta - some of the many golf courses in Málaga- are very near.

The land has several pathways to walk around and enjoy nature. Besides olives, pines, almond trees and holm oaks, there is a wide variety of fruit trees: orange , grapefruit and kiwi trees, avocados and so on, up to a total of 27 species. Likewise, there is a wide variety of bird species that live in the land: sparrows, eagles, chaffinches, woodpeckers, goldfinches, and sparrow hawks, among others.
