Casa Jasmina

Casa Jasmina is nestled in the traditional mountain village of Colmenar, in a quiet street just off the village centre. Within the majestic mountain ranges near El Torcal and the Montes de Malaga natural park, with its beautiful scenery and old ventas, this traditional hosteleria Casa Jasmina is an ideal place to stay to experience Spanish mountain village life. The hosteleria has three rooms available, each with private en-suite bathroom facilities. The rustic beamed downstairs suite has twin beds, a large shower room and room for a cot. The other ground floor room has a double bed and an Andalucian style shower room. The tower room has twin beds with a spacious shower room and offers absolute privacy and unrivalled views over the village and the surrounding hills. All rooms are quiet and private, have video facilities and are accessed from the southwest facing sun terrace.

Enjoy Andalusian village life at its best. Take a stroll through Colmenar or the surrounding countryside, sample famous regional dishes in any of the local bars, go shopping at the weekly market, or simply have a relaxing day on one of our ample terraces, with a good read in the sun. And if it gets to hot, just take a refreshing dip in the outdoor Jacuzzi.

Breakfast is served in the guest dining room or optionally on the sun terrace. Evening meals and refreshments are also available upon request. Videos and books are available for your use with no extra charge. We offer a pickup and drop off service to and from Málaga airport. Also available are excursions to and from places and venues of interest, such as Gibraltar, coastal Nerja and its caves, Marbella, the amazing El Torcal natural park, the Alhambra in Granada, the Mezquita and Jewish quarter in Córdoba, and many more. Just 20 kilometres north of Málaga, right in the middle of Los Montes, lies Colmenar, also known as the Capital of the Montes de Málaga.

From here, it takes 25 minutes to get to the Costa del Sol beaches, 35 minutes for Málaga and the international airport. There'll be never a dull moment.
